| one C | white vinegar |
| 1/2 C | water |
| 1/2 to 3/4 C | sugar, or equivalent amount of sweetener |
| 1 to 2 T | dill weed |
| one clove | garlic optional |
| 3 to 4 | cucumbers, sliced |
| one | onion, thinly sliced |
Combine white vinegar, water, sugar, dill weed, and garlic clove in pan. Bring to a boil
Pour over cucumbers and onion slices
This keeps weeks in the fridge. I also vary it by adding sliced carrots or sliced sweet red peppers. When chopped, this also makes a good sandwich topping
