|3||oranges, peeled & sectioned|
|2||Kiwi fruits, peeled & sliced|
|2||bananas, peeled & sliced|
|2/3 C||orange juice|
|1/3 C||sour cream|
For sauce In one quart saucepan, cook orange juice, cornstarch and honey over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Cool completely, about one hour. Stir in sour cream. Cover and refrigerate until serving time
Oranges and kiwi may be cut like wagon wheels if desired. Place lettuce on individual salad plates. Spread out fruit over lettuce leaves
I also used a few fresh strawberries and grapes that I had in the frig. Last, cut and arrange the banana slices. Top each plate of salad with 1 or 2 tablespoons dressing. Serves 4
This is the salad I made for Christmas dinner. The sauce was made in advance, as well as the cutting of the oranges, kiwi and strawberries. The only hassle was arranging it all at the last minute. Everyone enjoyed it.
