| Position yourself on your side on the floor as shown in photo above, with top knee bent, leg back. |

| Raise your knee as far as comfortably possible, then a bit more. Repeat for other side. If this is too easy, try the straight-leg version shown below. |

| A more difficult way is to not bend your knee. Start as shown in the photo above, with both legs straight. |

| Now raise your upper leg, keeping it as straight as possible. Repeat for other side. |

| The movement should finish with your leg as high as you can go. See photo above. |
