I am a retired Minister and really love the Lord and I am so thankful for His care. I have been married to Marilyn for 49 wonderful, and have 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and 5 children of our own. My wife and I were high school sweethearts and still are! At age 39 I had my first heart attack and it killed my pacemaker node, so I got a pacemaker in 1969.
I now am 70 and on my 10th pacemaker. The last one was a 2-lead in 1997. Since then I have had 2 more heart attacks, 2 strokes, found to have CAD and have had 2 angioplastys, one with a stent. About 5 years ago I was found to have CHF. I also have had open heart surgery (heart was bleeding - 1998) and have the RLS of the legs. I also have arthritis and get hip shots for that. I have about class 3 CHF.

Update Update Update Update

January 16, 2002 - I had a very bad summer and ended up in the hospital a couple of times. I was having pains in my midsection, dizzness, I felt sick, and had lots of heart pain. They found that I could not take Lipitor at all and took me off that. They also discovered that I am now in class 4 CHF with an EF of about 20%. They went through all my meds. They also found a scar tissue growth on my brain and are watching that, which they think that was from last stroke.
My triglycerides have gone nuts as well. They are 647 and not moving, so that's what we are doing now, trying to figure that out. I cannot do much exercising since slipping into class 4 CHF. I guess it's my diet to fight. This sounds pretty bad but I really am not feeling too bad. With the pain meds and my Lord, I do well!
