I'm Freda, also known as Lilac. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and rheumatoid arthritis in 1995. I was diagnosed with leaking mitral and aortic valves 3 years ago. My life sometimes is dull and miserable but I'm hanging in there. I have to keep going since I have one child still at home. He's into sports in school and I try to attend all I can for him.
My previous surgeries include hysterectomy, gallbladder, and many adhesions and blood clots in my intestines. I guess the worst one was the bladder surgery. The doctor says we'll just keep an eye on my heart for now.
A lot of times my energy is so low. I do try to walk as often as possible. I have chest pains almost daily. Still, I wonder about it all. I'm not able to hold down a full-time job or even a part-time job at this point. The doctors think my problem was the use of diet drugs. All I know is that I'm here today and try to be best mom and wife I can.
