Karen R 12-2     what does a heart failure diagnosis really mean?

Jon 12-5     I ain't dead yet, and I haven't quit either

Karen R, December 2, 2007 - Hello All, My husband was just diagnosed Friday with CHF and I am completely freaked. He is 52 and an avid outdoorsmen. This has hit me like a ton of bricks because he promotes health and I cannot believe he has this. I have no idea what we are in store for in the future. He bikes, skis, chops wood, hikes. Does this all stop now? I am having a really hard time getting my head wrapped around the fact that he has this disease. Can anyone tell me what your experience has been with this? karenmregan@prodigy.net

Jon, December 5, 2007 - Hello Everyone, I'd like to start this with a quote from Jon Ashcroft, "failure is not fatal unless you quit; getting knocked down is not embarrassing unless you allow it to keep you down." I seem to keep getting knocked down a lot lately, but I have no intention of letting it keep me down for good. Bear with me and let's see how it goes. Jon.
